Refund Policy

The first $500 of your entry fee is non-refundable. The remainder is refundable if you cancel your entry before December 31. If you cancel your entry after that, we will issue a non-transferrable credit for next year's race.

Hotels

ALL hotel reservations and accommodations necessary to compete in the rally are to be made by individual race teams at their expense.

Bay of L.A. (Cars)

All Bahia de Los Angeles hotel rooms have been booked. Free camping is available in NORRA's Pit City. You can also rent a concrete pad in Pit City, if you want (see the NORRA Store).

Accomodations at Guerrero Negro (Motos only)

In a continued effort for safety and fun, the NORRA Mexican 1000 Rally has set a course for the Bikes, leaving San Felipe on Day 2, to arrive in Guerrero Negro instead of Bahia de los Angeles. NORRA has taken the lead and prepared a list of accommodations which you can easily book on the NORRA website store page at www.norra.com/fc/store.

Details about border crossing will be distributed as a Rally Alert shortly before most teams will be departing for the event. Meanwhile, please register all your vehicles that will be crossing the border by going to Registration.

Pits and Fuel

For 2018 MAG-7 will provide fully staffed and equipped fuel and service stops in the off-road sections. All entries will receive FREE support at all MAG-7 service points. This includes fuel for motorcycles. NORRA has partnered with VP Racing Fuels and MAG-7 to get you to the finish line at the 2018 YOKOHAMA Mexican 1000! MAG-7 is proud to be providing pit service for all NORRA racers.

Medical and Liability Insurance:

Vehicle Drivers and Co-Drivers will be banded with a wristband for Medical and Liability Insurance - a policy provided by Instant Mexican Insurance. Please understand the limitations of this insurance by reading the policy. Read the Policy

Medical:

  • Covers accidents that happen on the course ONLY
  • Does NOT cover the race vehicle or damages
  • Racer on racer accidents on course are covered under same medical terms but without liability coverage
  • Does NOT cover accidents that involve illegal drugs
  • ONLY covers $5000 in medical stabilization in Mexico (the insured covers flights or transportation to get back into US)
