Registration Opens July 15 for the 2026 NORRA 500 “Baja Coast Challenge”

The Pacific coastline, towering mountains, and legendary backroads of Baja California will once again set the stage as the 2026 NORRA 500 “Baja Coast Challenge” takes place October 8 through 11. Combining world-class competition with NORRA’s Baja Experience, the four-day event delivers everything competitors have come to expect from NORRA, challenging special stages, spectacular scenery, and the unmatched camaraderie that defines racing in Baja.

Registration opens July 15, giving competitors the opportunity to secure their entry for one of Baja’s premier off-road events.

The festivities begin Thursday, October 8, as downtown Ensenada comes alive with NORRA FanFest, Contingency and Tech Inspection. Racers, teams, sponsors and fans will gather to celebrate the start of another unforgettable weekend before competitors head into the mountains on Friday morning.

Day One sends the field south from Ensenada to San Quintín, traversing rugged mountain trails, fast-flowing roads, and dramatic Pacific coastline. NORRA has booked rooms to resell to racers in San Quintín, for easier logistics. On Saturday, October 10, competitors turn north for the return to Ensenada, finishing at Estero Beach after another full day of Baja’s diverse and ever-changing terrain. The event concludes on Sunday, October 11, with NORRA Awards Pickup at Transpeninsular Brewery, where competitors can celebrate, collect their awards, and wrap up another successful chapter of NORRA’s Baja Experience before heading home.

Adding to the excitement is the return of the King of the Beach Challenge, one of the event’s most anticipated competitions. Set along one of Baja’s iconic stretches of coastline, competitors will once again battle for the coveted King of the Beach Trophy, earning not only a unique piece of hardware but the bragging rights that come with conquering one of the rally’s signature challenges.

Whether competing for an overall victory, a class championship, or the King of the Beach crown, the 2026 NORRA 500 “Baja Coast Challenge” offers competitors an unforgettable combination of competition, exploration, and camaraderie that can only be found through NORRA’s Baja Experience.
